Muscatine, IA – June 1, 2010— World’s Best Cat Litter® today launches World’s Best Cat Litter® Charity. Using Facebook, fans can vote daily for 45 days to donate pounds of World’s Best Cat Litter® to shelters and organizations devoted to helping cat communities. As the initial step in our Charity Program, World’s Best Cat Litter® will aid Washington Humane Society (WHS), Washington Animal Rescue League (WARL) and Alley Cat Allies with its partner Friends of Fairfax County Animal Shelter. Those interested in contributing litter via their votes can go to www.facebook.com/worldsbestcatlitter, become a fan of World’s Best Cat Litter® and vote for organizations to receive free litter.

“Many animal shelters are working overtime to address the increasing needs of communities across the U.S. today,” said Paul Zobel, Director of Sales and Marketing for World’s Best Cat Litter®. “Through the World’s Best Cat Litter® Charity and the votes of Facebook fans, we can mobilize people to help shelters in the Washington, D.C., area, and in other markets to come. We hope animal lovers nationwide will vote online and help these great shelters help cat communities.”
