Are you April Fool-proof?

While there’s no fooling your feline friend when it comes to outstanding odor control in your litter box, we’re celebrating April Fools’ Day with a quick quiz highlighting just how unbelievable cats are. We’ve rounded up a handful of ridiculous, but true news stories about felines and mixed in a few of our own fictional headlines.

Can you guess which are true and which we came up with?
Hint: Reality can truly be stranger than fiction!

2. Feline Flipper? Cat to swim the English Channel.

3. The Smell of Fear: Police using cats to sniff out crooks.
A pioneering study of the feline sense of smell at UC-Berkley has area police testing a new program that uses cats to sniff out criminals. Professor Timothy Walker said cats are helping identify the truthfulness of suspects by reacting to the minute scents release by humans during questioning.

4. The cat with purr-fect vision! Almost-blind cat has his life transformed by wearing contact lenses.
Most contact lens wearers have had trouble putting them in their eyes at some point – so the idea of putting them on a cat might seem ridiculous. But that is exactly what the owners of “Ernest”—a 15-year-old black and white cat—have found themselves doing.

5. Cat plays furry grim reaper at nursing home: Has predicted 25 deaths by curling up next to patient in final hours.
