with Melissa Brookshire, DVM

Dr. Brookshire is a 1997 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, she practiced in a small animal hospital in Kansas City. Melissa and her husband, the other Dr. Brookshire, opened their own companion animal hospital in 1998. They co-owned the hospital until its sale in 2005. Melissa served as the Director of Veterinary Services for a large pet food manufacturer for 4 years prior to creating her own consulting company in 2007.
