11. Is World's Best Cat Litter™ safe for kittens and older cats?

World's Best Cat Litter™ products are made from food or feed grade ingredients and are especially safe for kittens over 8 weeks of age through "elder" cats. In general, veterinarians do not recommend that kittens under eight weeks old use kitty litter. Regarding older cats, World's Best Cat Litter™ customers have reported that those who had become litter averse (LAS—Litter Averse Syndrome), were retrained successfully using World's Best Cat Litter™.

12. How often do I need to completely change the litter in the litter box with World's Best Cat Litter™?

Frequency of changing the cat litter depends on the number of cats and how frequently the cat(s) uses the cat litter throughout the day/week/month. After using World's Best Cat Litter™ for a period of time, customers should be able to monitor the correct amount of cat litter for their cat's needs. Due to the long-lasting and clumping nature of World's Best Cat Litter™, customers report they change the litter less often than when using other cat litters. If World's Best Cat Litter™ seems less absorbent after a period of use, the customer should change the litter accordingly.

No animals are used in testing the product. World's Best Cat Litter™ is tested using simulated urine in the labs - no animals. It is given to animal shelters to get feedback on its performance. Since it is made of whole-kernel corn, it is pet, people and planet friendly.

1. I suffer from allergies, how will this cat litter affect me? My cat suffers from allergies, how will this litter affect him/her?

Like any new product you introduce into your home/environment, we recommend testing the product to see how you and/or your cat will react. World's Best Cat Litter™ only contains natural ingredients. However, if you or your cats are sensitive to fragrance, we recommend using the Clumping or Multiple Cat Clumping formulas, which are fragrance-free. As with any litter, if your cat shows an adverse reaction or begins to eat the litter repeatedly, please discontinue use immediately.

2. What type of fragrance is this?

The all natural fragrance is made of a lavender oil blend.

3. What is the oil made of? Is it all natural?

The fragrance is made of an all-natural oil blend including lavender. The oil blend does not contain any chemicals or synthetic ingredients and is derived from a plant based oil.

4. Is the oil/fragrance going to hurt my cat or dog, if ingested?

No. The level of oil/fragrance is extremely low, just enough to keep your room smelling fresh, but it should not be enough to cause any harm to your pets.

As with any litter, if your pet shows an adverse reaction or begins to eat the litter repeatedly, please discontinue use immediately.

5. Is this the same as Clumping or Multiple Cat Clumping formula? Or is it a completely new formula?

The new Scented formula is the Multiple Cat Clumping formula with an added natural fragrance for people who prefer a scented litter.

6. I started using this formula a few weeks ago, but notice that the fragrance tends to go away after a while. Why?

Due to the properties of natural oil, the fragrance will dissipate over time, particularly when it is left open, like in the litter box. Although the fragrance may lessen over time, rest assured that World's Best Cat Litter™ will still perform as it always has! As with any grain-based product, always store unused portion sealed in the bag or a bin in a cool, dry place.

World's Best Cat Litter™ Scented Multiple Cat Clumping formula is available at PetSmart, Petco and many local pet stores. It is not currently available in any mass (Target) or grocery stores. It's available in a 7 lb, 17 lb and 34 lb bag.!

8. Are there any chemicals in this formulation?
