Tell Us About Your Visit
July 2, 2010

At World’s Best Cat Litter™, we hold this truth to be self-evident: all cats are created equal. … But for the 4th of July weekend, we unfurl our flag and salute the American Bobtail, American Curl, American Shorthair, American Wirehair, Maine Coon Cat, Oregon Rex and all other breeds originated in the United States—including Selkirk Rex, Savannah, Ragamuffin and Pixie-Bob. (Admittedly, we just like saying, “Pixie-Bob.”)

Like us, cats are endowed with certain unalienable rights. Life. Liberty. And the pursuit of happiness (and a ball of yarn).

Unlike us, however, cats and dogs do not find a lick of happiness in fireworks and loud noises. So before you celebrate our nation’s independence, please consider creating a quiet sanctuary for your pets.

If you’re having fireworks in the yard, PLEASE PUT YOUR PETS INSIDE and check on them often. When frightened by fireworks and loud noises, they may begin to seek the familiarity and comfort of family, driving them to flee … maybe even jumping or burying under fences. And if you’re leaving them alone while you go watch fireworks, put your pets in a quiet room where they can feel safe, in case your neighbors set a few boomers off.

A few precautions can make everybody’s holiday pursuits a little happier … because it’s been our experience that, when pets are frightened by booms, they may go boom-boom where you don’t want it.

Keep ‘em going in the litter. And have a safe and happy 4th of July!
