I would like our local little No "Kill Shelter" - The Humane Society of the Ochocos, receive this donation of litter. There are a few paid employees, most are volunteers. Some work five days a week for no pay just to help the animals. Prineville is also active in Spray-Neuter-Return. We have a Snip House that takes care of all feral cats has reduced rates for non-feral, owner bring in cats and dogs. I volunteer at the animal shelter, primarily to just pay attention to the cats and get them socialized for adoption. I take treats and toys and everyone gets attention! I'm not physically strong enough to rally clean cages but I do change litter boxes needed. The volunteers who do the cleaning, change the boxes in the mornings every day from 8-10, I come in later and if some need it all all are busy, I can do that. I have a great love of cats since childhood. Have one feral rescue boy whom I trapped, had neutered and returned him and domesticated him. Our shelter takes in every single stray that is found in the county running loose in town and outside town. They took in the Kiss Dogs a few years ago which nearly bankrupted them - 100 plus dogs from Powell Butte, a small community in our county. They take all kittens that are brought in by the public. It is an overwhelming task and sometimes money is really tight. So of course they depend on volunteers and donations. Anyway, I feel they would be a very worthy place to receive the Worlds Greatest Cat Litter.

I would love to see the Beaufort Community Cat Project receive this donation of litter. The Beaufort Community Cat Project is an all-volunteer organization advocating non lethal methods to reduce the free-roaming cat population using Trap-Neuter-Return. This litter would be beneficial to the cats who must stay in post op crates after their spay/neuter surgeries. <br />~Dana~
