The Forest Scent clumping formula has the delicate scent of pine. No fear of your home smelling like those car pine fresheners, the scent is nice and subtle. Introducing the new scent to my cats was a little bit hilarious. Watching them approach the litter area they sensed something had changed and sniffed the area for a moment or two, yet did not hesitate to use the new litter. When I introduced other brands before they would come to a complete halt and not use it because they could smell strong perfumes for chemicals. With the World's Best Cat Litter I did not experience this.

We are a World's Best Cat Litter cat family. We only use World's Best Cat Litter because it is my cat's favorite, it's all natural, and it doesn't bother my allergies like other cat litters we have used in the past. So far we have used three different formulas. I think the Forest Scented Clumping Litter might be my favorite so far which totally blows me away. I wouldn't have guessed that. I love the smell that reminds me of pine and wood chips. My cats, who love the great outdoors, like using the new litter and always come immediately when I put new cat litter down.

If you look closely you can see that the new litter is a MUCH lighter color than the previous World's Best Cat Litter™ that I had been using. If Mom didn't listen to the advice that the World's Best people put on the side of the bag about GRADUALLY mixing the litter, I might not have tried it! Mom didn't have to worry! I took to the NEW FOREST SCENTED Clumping Litter by Worlds Best Cat Litter™ like a CHAMP! Another concern that Mom had before she opened the new Forest Scented litter was would the smell be too strong? Mom and I are pleased to tell you that NO the scent is pleasant, refreshing, it is NOT "perfumy" or overpowering which helped to put BOTH of our noses at ease!

On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give this new scent of the great product a 9.5 since the scent wasn't as strong as I thought it might be. Probably for the best since if I designed the product you'd smell it from a block away. And nobody wants that. I'll leave the hard work up to the World's Best Cat Litter guys and gals. I asked the cat what his thoughts were on the new litter I'd given him. All I got was a death stare and a "oh you want me to do tricks?" Up trick. I'll infer that he likes it.

I've been using World's Best Cat Litter™ Forest Scented with my foster cats for over a week. They use it without any issue. I don't notice any odors so it's either working or the cats aren't smelly. It clumps cleanly and has lasted to the point of not needing to be refreshed just yet. I scoop the pan twice a day, but even if I only scooped once, I don't believe I'd have an issue with odor.

I have been a fan of World's Best Cat Litter for a while now, and this new Forest Scented Clumping formula does not disappoint. The cats don't mind the scent at all, in fact as you can see from the pictures above they seem to really like it. I think it reminds them of being outdoors when they were strays! The forest scent is subtle and not overpowering like many scented litters. My fellow felines and I have had no issues making the transition to the new formula and seem to show no preference for one or the other. However, my two leggers appear to favor the new product.

One of the first things I noticed about the litter was how little dust there was when I poured the litter into the box. I had heard how bad the dust from clay litter can be for pets, and World's Best Cat Litter is virtually dust-free... I was amazed the first time I went to scoop out my cat's waste because the litter clumped so well; I had never seen any cat litter clump that well. The odor wasn't bad with the cat litter. My cat has a habit of not burying her waste so it was a little hard to tell how well it keeps the odor down but I didn't have any problem with odor like I do with some other litters. I certainly loved the clumping factor. It was so easy and fast to change the litter box!

I REALLY like that there is ZERO dust in this litter! I also don't mind the smell of the litter itself. Some scented litters smell really chemically to me, and I know cats have a more sensitive nose than us. This scented litter smells really... natural. I have to say, hands down, that I am now a World's Best Cat Litter fan (a BIG one). I haven't had any issues cleaning the litter box (even with multiple cats) and being run out of the room by the overpowering chemical smell. The smell of the litter box is almost non-existent. This litter is enough to change my mind with that! It has the quickest clumping formula I have ever seen, I did a little happy dance cleaning the box. My normal 20 minute routine to clean the cat box turned into about 5. How did it become so quick? Well I just had to scoop and flush! Yes this is flush-able litter as well. If you are really going for greenness, this allows you to save garbage bags or plastic bags.

World's Best Cat Litter, I'm super happy to report, is almost dustless when it comes to what flies around the bathroom when they use it. Gone are the days of the dust cloud when you refill the box and a constant film over every surface from the boys kicking up dust when after they're business is done. It does, however, tend to stay on their paws, so I see a bit of yellow dust on the tables if they sit there. No big deal, though; just wipe and go.
