Frequently Asked Questions!

What makes your litter the “World’s Best”?

The combination of superior odor control, safety and cat-owner convenience make WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ worthy of the “World’s Best” title.

Odor control is the #1 attribute cat owners want in a cat litter, and WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ controls odor like no other product on the market. Unlike clay and synthetic litters, WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ is made from whole-kernel corn. Corn has a unique microporous structure that provides a large surface area to effectively trap and absorb ammonia. Urine odors are bound by protein molecules…naturally… without the need for added chemicals or perfumes which some cats don’t like.

Since WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ is made from all natural whole-kernel corn it is safe for cats and kittens of all ages without worry of ingestion, dust or allergy problems.

WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ is clumpable and scoopable. AND it is septic safe, so you just scoop the clump and flush* it, eliminating the need for changing the litter box!

Why is WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ worth the price?

WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ is longer lasting than traditional clumping clay litters. In fact it takes about 40% more traditional clay litter to do the same job as WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™.

Because you simply scoop and flush* the clumps, you never have to “dump” (and waste) the entire contents of the litter box.

Is it safe?

Yes. It is safe for you, your cats and the environment. It can be used by cats and kittens without worry of ingestion, dust or allergy problems. WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ is 99% dust free, containing no clays, silica, synthetic binding or dust reducing agents found in other litters. NOTE: Do not expose kittens to litter before they are 8-weeks of age.

Veterinarians and breeders have known for years that the silica dust prevalent in clay-based conventional and clumping litters may cause respiratory problems in both cats and their owners. Over time silica dust, when inhaled can accumulate in the alveoli and air sacs of the lungs. With WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ there is no need to worry about a cat or its owner inhaling problematic dust.

Because WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ is made from all natural corn it is earth-friendly and biodegradable. It is also flushable* and septic safe.

What if my cat ingests WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER?

No problem. Because it is made from whole kernel corn, it will pass harmlessly through your cat’s digestive system and will not obstruct or coat your cat’s intestinal lining. WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ contains no perfumes, chemicals, or sodium bentonite which may be harmful to cats.

How many cats will it handle?

Because WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ is clumpable and scoopable, a little goes a long way. WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ is available in two formulas: Original and Extra Strength (for multiple cat households).

The chart below illustrates how many days a 17 LB of each Formula will last based on the number of cats in the household.

What is the difference between Original and Extra Strength formulas?

Choosing between WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ Original or Extra Strength formulas is simple. Both products clump and are safe, natural, scoopable and flushable*. WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ Original Formula introduced cat owners to the benefits of an all natural, safe litter for cats and kittens.

Over the years, WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ has taken comments and suggestions from customers and developed an additional formula, offering an Extra Strength option, specifically designed for multiple cat households needing harder clumping and stronger odor control. Extra Strength Formula gets its added “power” with the addition of a natural plant derived ingredient. There are no perfumes, chemicals or sodium bentonite in either formula.

Can I use it in an automatic self-cleaning litter box?

Yes. In fact WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ is recommended by the manufacturers of self-cleaning litter boxes for use with their products. Unlike conventional litters, WORLD’S BEST CAT LITTER™ will not gum up the mechanisms of an automatic self-cleaning litter box.
